History of the department of Zoology

Lashio Regional College was founded on 19th January 1978. On 1st April 1980 it was affiliated with Mandalay University as Lashio College and then it was promoted as Lashio Degree College on 7th July 1999. The Botany Department was opened the same year Lashio College was founded. On 20th January 2007 finally it was enlarged as the Lashio University.

The holistic development of the students and make them able to contribute effectively for their welfare and society in this dynamic era.

Mission

– To offer high quality educatin dedicated to building minds with social and moral responsibility.
– Committed to educating to students beyond the condines of a cladd room to make them better individuals and develop their responsibilities, enbaling them to face the challenges of the modren world.
