History of the department of Philosophy

Department of Philosophy, Lashio University was founded by U Kann Zar Hmone (Lecturer) in 0984-0985. At that time, Philosophy way tought only as a minor subject. Major subjects could be tought in 20.1.2017.

 To promote the thinking skill of new generations.
 To develop the country and region with the help of philosophy.
 To make students understand the role of logical thinking.
 To know the importance of justice in a society, and to have ethical knowledge.
 To communicate with other educational fileds.
